What's up, my Greats!

Let me say this upfront: If you're waiting until you “have it all together” before you follow your calling, you’re gonna miss it.

Too many people are out here waiting on confirmation, credentials, clarity—meanwhile, opportunity is walking right past them because they’re too scared to move.

Let’s go back to a wild moment in Matthew 4. Jesus shows up on the scene and says:

“Come, follow me... and I will make you fishers of men.”
— Matthew 4:19

That’s it. No interview. No prep. No long explanation. Just an invitation.

And the men He called? Ordinary. Unqualified. Unpolished. Fishermen.

But here’s what they did next:

They dropped their nets and followed. Immediately.

No hesitation. No excuses. Just movement.

And that’s the lesson for every entrepreneur, every dreamer, every future trailblazer reading this: The making only happens, after the following.

You keep asking to be “made” into something. A leader, a success, a voice, an influence - but you haven’t made the move. You're still tangled in the net.

Here’s what that net looks like today:

  • Comfort zones

  • Overthinking

  • Fear of judgment

  • “Stable” jobs you hate

  • Relationships you’ve outgrown

  • Beliefs that say, “Who am I to do this?”

That net is safe. Familiar. Predictable. And completely useless when it comes to building the life you were called to live.

Let me break this down:

1. You Don’t Need to Be Qualified to Be Called

Jesus didn’t pick scholars or elite business minds. He picked everyday people and said, “Let’s go.” Why? Because He wasn’t looking for credentials. He was looking for commitment.

You keep disqualifying yourself from greatness because of where you come from, what you lack, or what you’ve been through. But the truth is, you’re already enough to start. God handles the making, after you start moving.

2. Following Looks Like Sacrifice

The disciples didn’t just “agree” to follow. They left something behind. If you're serious about your calling, you’re going to have to leave something too. That might be a paycheck, a comfort zone, an old identity, or a limiting belief.

But hear me. Obedience unlocks opportunity.

There are doors you’ll never see until you take the first step. And the longer you delay that step, the longer you delay the making.

3. Movement Attracts Momentum

Those first steps might be messy. You might not know what you’re doing. But action builds clarity. Obedience builds confidence. Movement builds momentum. Every major breakthrough started with a first step that made no sense on paper.

Don’t miss yours.

4. You’re Being Made As You Go

Jesus said, “I will make you...” Not instantly. Not overnight. It’s a process.
But you’ve got to start for that process to begin.

You don’t have to fake perfection. You just have to show up real, raw, and ready to grow. Let the making happen along the way.

So here’s my question for you:

What’s the net you need to drop?

What are you still holding that’s keeping you from the future you keep praying for?

Because here’s what I know: when you finally drop it - when you finally say yes to the uncomfortable, risky, purpose-filled path - you won’t just find yourself. You’ll be made into exactly who you were born to be.

So don’t just read this and nod.

Move.

Drop the net. Follow the call. And let the making begin.

Your future self is waiting!
